Elko is host to many events such as the Ruby Mountain Hot Air Balloon Festival that started in 2002 and continues to go strong. The balloon festival draws pilots and their crews from all over the United States.
The ever popular National Cowboy Poetry Gathering started over 32 years ago by a group of local ranches and cowboys to share their poetry about their lives. This event you will not want to miss.
